I keep seeing tweets about "the government" taking more or faster action to prevent a run on shorted stocks than to contain the pandemic and I'm not sure if this is a failure of civics lessons or of information literacy, but the government hasn't done anything about gamestonks.
And a helpful reminder to opportunistic politicians who want to pretend like they care about the American people while not really caring for anyone but themselves.

3. Covid Optimism
I’ve been watching the chart for Georgia as the vaccine rolls out and it’s hard to ignore the flattening of the curve while people acted increasingly foolish.

If you haven’t seen the encouraging data coming out of Israel you should. In their first controlled results outside of study trials, they are looking at only 31 new COVID cases amongst 163,000 vaccinated individuals who received Pfizer’s vaccine. This is such good news.
